DID YOU MISS LAST SUNDAY’S TALK?

This Sunday we discovered that the good life is reserved for the pure in heart. Purity of heart is not something that we can attain in and of ourselves, but only through the powerful work of Jesus. The enemy can fool us into thinking that righteousness is something that can be achieved apart from Jesus, common traps include:
- Moralism - do the right thing for the wrong reason
- Repression - to pretend that we will nothing
- Idolatry - to will the right thing among many things.
To be the pure in heart one must respond in faith and encounter Jesus in a real and personal way.

This past Thursday night we had over 160 men join us for our “What’s at Steak” dinner!! At the dinner our men were challenged to live our lives according to biblical manhood.

We also challenged all the men of our church to join a Betterman group. These groups meet weekly to unpack the baggage of the past and walk in freedom as men of God. We have several groups meeting throughout the week, for more information please click the link below.
