Our Story
Who we are
Church at the Grove is one church meeting in multiple locations across Walton County, Georgia. We exist for the person who isn't sure church is for them — because we believe the good news about Jesus is for everyone, including people with doubts, questions, and complicated histories with religion.
What started as one congregation has grown into a multi-site family. In 2012 we sent a team to launch our Social Circle campus, and today we gather in Walnut Grove, Social Circle, and online — united around the same mission.
Our gatherings are warm and unpolished in the best way. We sing, we open the Bible and teach it plainly, we pray for one another, and we share what God is doing in our lives. We're not interested in performing church — we want to become the kind of people Jesus described: people who love God, love their neighbors, and bring hope to their community.
What We Believe
Our foundations
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God's word — trustworthy, true, and the foundation for everything we teach. We work hard to make it understandable for everyone, no church background required.
Jesus
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead. He is the center of our faith and the hope of the world.
The Gospel
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus — not something we earn. Anyone, from anywhere, can be made new.
The Church
We believe the church is a family, not a building — people learning to follow Jesus together and to serve the world He loves.
