Who We Are

A church for people figuring out faith

Church at the Grove is a community of ordinary people learning to follow Jesus together. You don't have to have it all together to belong here — none of us do.

Whether you grew up in church, walked away years ago, or are just curious about God, we'd love to meet you. Come ask your questions, bring your kids, and see what a life rooted in Jesus can look like.

Find your people

Sunday is where it starts, but life change happens in a circle, not a row. Community Groups are small gatherings of people who meet through the week in homes across Walton County — food, honest conversation, prayer, and friends who show up when life gets hard. Anyone can join, anytime.

The Scars We Didn’t Choose

Scars · September 13, 2026 ·

Discover how Naomi’s painful journey in Ruth illustrates that while we can’t choose every wound, we can choose the friends who walk with us through them. This sermon explores the themes of unexpected suffering, honest lament, and the healing power of deep, faithful relationships, showing how Naomi’s story leads to hope, restoration, and ultimately the lineage of Christ. It invites viewers to reflect on who their “Ruth” is and how they can be a source of healing for others.

20th Anniversary Celebration

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM · The Grove Park, Walnut Grove, GA

In 2006, a small group of families gathered for the first Sunday of Church at the Grove in a middle school cafeteria, hoping God would do something in this community. Twenty years later, we have two campuses, a church family spread across Walnut Grove and Social Circle, and a long list of stories none of us could have written. That was Him, not us. So we're getting everybody in one place to say thank you. Both campuses, one park, one evening. There will be food, worship, room for the kids to run, and plenty of time to catch up with people you only ever wave at across the lobby. Whether you've been here since the beginning or you walked in for the first time last Sunday, you belong at this one. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to bring. Just clear the evening and come.

Some of the most powerful words are simply, “come with me.” Invite someone to join you this Sunday or at an upcoming event.
