Who We Are

A church for people figuring out faith

Church at the Grove is a community of ordinary people learning to follow Jesus together. You don't have to have it all together to belong here — none of us do.

Whether you grew up in church, walked away years ago, or are just curious about God, we'd love to meet you. Come ask your questions, bring your kids, and see what a life rooted in Jesus can look like.

God is answering prayers here

Please pray for Cathy Cheek. She is at Piedmont Atlanta and is very sick. They think her TIPS (a procedure to bypass her liver is blocked, among other things going on health-wise. Also, pray for my daughter Amy that she will be able to get some rest from staying with her mom last night.

Not Prepared

The Empty Chair · August 16, 2026 · John 3:1-21

Discover why “not prepared” doesn’t mean “not willing” in this powerful sermon on John 3:1‑21. Pastor Russ Greer shows how even knowledgeable people like Nicodemus can be caught off‑guard by Jesus’ truth, yet receive good news that transforms lives. He challenges believers to see the “nots” around them—those unprepared, confused, or lost—and respond with grace, sharing the gospel rather than offering advice. The message inspires the church to become aware, compassionate, and proactive in inviting others to experience Jesus’ love and salvation.

Church is better with friends

Some of the most powerful words are simply, “come with me.” Invite someone to join you this Sunday or at an upcoming event.
