Who We Are

A church for people figuring out faith

Church at the Grove is a community of ordinary people learning to follow Jesus together. You don't have to have it all together to belong here — none of us do.

Whether you grew up in church, walked away years ago, or are just curious about God, we'd love to meet you. Come ask your questions, bring your kids, and see what a life rooted in Jesus can look like.

Find your people

Sunday is where it starts, but life change happens in a circle, not a row. Community Groups are small gatherings of people who meet through the week in homes across Walton County — food, honest conversation, prayer, and friends who show up when life gets hard. Anyone can join, anytime.

Praise Reports

God is answering prayers here

Please pray for Cathy Cheek. She is at Piedmont Atlanta and is very sick. They think her TIPS (a procedure to bypass her liver is blocked, among other things going on health-wise. Also, pray for my daughter Amy that she will be able to get some rest from staying with her mom last night.

Bringing Scars Into the Light

Scars · August 30, 2026 ·

Discover how unacknowledged wounds keep us stuck and why naming them is the first step toward true healing. Using the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda, the sermon shows that Jesus calls us to want wellness, to rise, pick up our old identity, and walk into new life. It challenges habitual comforts, encourages confession, and points to Christ’s own wounded sacrifice as the source of our restoration, urging listeners to bring their deepest scars into the light for freedom and wholeness.
