Devotion
Trust God With What You Cannot Undo
“You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result—the survival of many people.”
Genesis 50:20
Joseph holds two truths together. His brothers intended evil, and God was working toward good. Human sin was real, but it was never beyond God’s sovereign reach.
Joseph does not say the betrayal was secretly good. He calls it evil. God’s redemption does not excuse the offender or rename the wound. It means evil cannot outrun His purpose.
Practice
Name one part of your story you cannot change. Open your hands as you pray and surrender the outcome to God. Ask Him to show you the next faithful step, even if He does not show you the whole plan.
Prayer
Sovereign God, I give You what I cannot undo or control. I do not call evil good, but I believe You are greater than what happened. Use even this part of my story for Your redemptive purpose. Amen.
