Meet four weeks in a row, then go back to every other week

Our preference

If you can swing it, shift your group to weekly for just one month to get through all four Belong sessions back to back, then return to your normal every-other-week rhythm afterward. This keeps the curriculum exactly as it was designed — nothing merged, nothing rushed — and it’s worth the temporary schedule change if your group is able to make it work.

2

Use it as designed — one session per gathering

The simplest option: just watch one session each time your group meets, which means Belong stretches across your first eight weeks instead of four. Nothing to change here — the curriculum was built to give each session room to breathe, and this keeps that intact.

3

Use the merged videos

Not the ideal option

We’ve put together combined videos for Weeks 1&2 and Weeks 3&4, each with its own leader’s guide, for groups where four consecutive weeks just isn’t realistic. Both videos below are also available on RightNow Media, in addition to YouTube.

Heads up going in:this is not the ideal way to experience Belong. Two weeks of content gets covered in one sitting, so each video covers a lot of ground quickly, you’ll hit more discussion pause breaks than usual, and your discussion time will likely need to run longer than your normal hour. We’d also encourage you to point your group members to the full original videos on their own time, so they still get the complete teaching.

Whichever path fits your group, the goal is the same: don’t skip Belong, just find the shape that actually works for your rhythm. Reach out to your campus pastor if you want to talk through which of these makes the most sense for your group.
