Fall 2026 · Community Groups
Community Group Covenant
A simple, shared yes that makes our commitment to one another real, so trust and growth have room to happen.
Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. A Community Group is where we belong—where we stop being a face in the crowd and become a family that grows toward Jesus together.
This covenant is a one-semester commitment, not a lifetime contract. Take it home, pray over it, and bring it back signed by the end of the four intro sessions.

Our six commitments
How we will show up
These commitments make room for a group to feel safe, known, and spiritually healthy.
Presence
01I’ll show up.
I’ll prioritize our group, come consistently, and arrive on time. When I can’t make it, I’ll let someone know ahead of time. Real relationships are built by being there.
Authenticity
02I’ll be real.
I’ll share my actual life—not the highlight reel. I’ll be honest about my joys, struggles, questions, and faith. I can’t be known if I only show the version of me that has it together.
Confidentiality
03What’s shared here stays here.
I’ll guard what’s shared in our group as something sacred. I won’t repeat someone’s story or use it as an example without permission.
If someone is at risk of harming themselves or another person, or a child or vulnerable adult is in danger, we will lovingly involve the right help.
Care
04I’ll show up beyond meeting night.
I’ll look for ways to love the people in this group throughout the week—a text, a prayer, a meal, or a hand when life gets hard. We’re a family, not a weekly appointment.
Growth
05I’ll let God change me here.
I’ll come ready to open my Bible, engage honestly, and take real next steps. I’m here to become more like Jesus and help others do the same.
Openness & Mission
06I’ll keep an empty chair.
I’ll help keep our group open and outward-facing by praying for, inviting, and welcoming people who aren’t here yet, and by serving together beyond our living room.
This goes both ways
A mutual commitment
As I commit to this group, this group and its leaders commit to me: to show up, to keep what I share in confidence, to care for me in hard seasons, and to help me take my next step in following Jesus.
We make this commitment to God and to one another, trusting the Holy Spirit to do in us what we could never do on our own.
Before you sign
Pray, then return it to your leader
Don’t rush this. Take it home, pray over it, and count the cost honestly. When you are ready, sign the covenant your leader gives you and return it by the end of the four intro sessions.
