Are You Coming Sunday?

This month marks 15 years as a church! It is crazy to think about all that God has done over the past 15 years and the hundreds of lives that have been changed. Join us this month as we celebrate the faithfulness of God in our church and all that he has done in our midst. 

• Sunday, September 26th Morning Service - Special Sunday morning gathering sharing stories from the past 15th years.
• Sunday, September 26th Evening Celebration - Join us Sunday evening on the lawn at Walnut Grove as we cookout beginning at 5pm and then have a night of worship and celebration at 6pm. It will be a great time for the entire family!

This Sunday we talked about the difference between being an admirer of Jesus and being a follower of Jesus, an admirer holds back part of themselves while a follower devotes themselves fully to following the Jesus and his ways. As we come to to the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus makes a distinction between these two groups of people, saying that many people will be content to be admirers and stay on the wide road that ends in destructions, while very few will actually become his followers and find the narrow road to life.

This past Sunday we featured the incredible ministry of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Walton County, through their efforts they are able to help women in crisis situations make a decision to choose life. In an effort to further help their ministry we are participating in the Baby Bottle Boomerang program. Take a bottle from the church, fill it with cash, change, or checks and then return it by October 24th.
