Practicing the Sabbath

"Biblical Sabbath is a twenty-four-hour block of time in which we stop work, enjoy rest, practice delight, and contemplate God." - Pete Scazzero

The spiritual discipline of the Sabbath is a life altering practice that will transform every area of your life. As one author said that those that practice the Sabbath one day a week will live the other six days differently. While the Sabbath can become legalistic in nature, it is meant to be received as a gift from the Lord (Mark 2:27).
