Grateful for this harvest season
Subject: Grateful for this harvest season
Church family,
I really love the season our church is in right now. Some seasons in ministry are planting seasons that are hard and full of labor. Then there are seasons where we reap the fruit of that labor. Right now feels like a harvest season, and we’re seeing God move in significant ways among us. Over the last three weeks I’ve been overwhelmed by stories of people coming to Christ, baptism testimonies, and people taking next steps in their faith journey. God is so so so so so so good! Let’s continue to press in.
It was a joy to be at our Walnut Grove campus this morning while Russ was at Social Circle. We focused on the empowerment of the Church through the Holy Spirit, and it was a powerful time of prayer for those needing the Lord to move in a mighty way. Let’s be a church that is desperate for God, expectant of His presence, and willing to take faithful risks.
It’s also an exciting time as the new Walnut Grove facility is quickly coming along. I walked through the building this afternoon, and the inside is almost completely framed out. We can’t wait for you to see it soon!
This weekend we were also able to serve at the Social Circle Friendship Festival. I’m so thankful for every volunteer who showed up early to set up and who helped staff the booth throughout the day. A special thank you to Debbie Bradford for her hard work organizing, putting our CATG booth together, and making sure everything was cleaned up afterward.

Church, I’m grateful for you. Thank you for your faithfulness, your prayers, and the way you love one another. Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and lean into what He’s doing in this harvest season.
With love and gratitude,
