Subject: Weekly Update — The Holy Spirit Is Moving
Preheader: Stories of renewal, a baptism to celebrate, PRC partnership, and key opportunities this week
Church family,
I’m deeply encouraged by the way the Holy Spirit is moving among us. Over just the last two weeks, I’ve heard story after story—people sensing God’s nearness, receiving clarity in prayer, confessing sin, taking brave next steps, and finding fresh hunger for Scripture and worship. This is not hype. It’s a genuine work of God in our church family.
Let’s keep leaning in. Make space each day to listen. Ask the Spirit to search your heart, to guide your decisions, to empower your conversations, and to deepen your love for Jesus. As we stay open and responsive, I believe we’ll see even more transformation—in our lives, our families, and our community. Remember to follow along with our Holy Spirit devotionals, sign up by texting HolySpirit to 97000.
This morning we celebrated a baptism at the Social Circle campus, with several more are coming in the weeks ahead! We also welcomed our friends from the Pregnancy Resource Center. If you picked up a baby bottle, please fill it with loose change, cash, or a check and return it by October 12. If you didn’t grab one, more will be available this Sunday.
For Generations Initiative
If you haven’t been by the Walnut Grove campus recently, the progress is remarkable. The new facility is almost completely dried in. HVAC installation is underway. The fire suppression system is being installed. Plumbing and electrical work begin soon.
Beyond the construction updates, the most exciting part is the potential this facility gives us to reach the Walnut Grove community and the next generations. Let’s continue to press in—give and serve with radical generosity. It isn’t about equal sacrifice but equal commitment.
